What are the dates and hours of operation?

The program runs from Monday, February 17th through Friday, February 21st and is in session from 8am to 6pm daily.

 

Can my child attend less than 5 days during the week for a reduced price?

Due to our limited capacity, there are no discounts for children that do not attend all 5 days during a week unless there is a medical incident preventing them from participating.

 

What are the age ranges of participants?

We accept children between the ages of 5 and 13.

 

How many participants are we accepting?

Our capacity is a maximum of 40 children for the week.

 

Do we provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks?

Lunch must be "brown bagged" and brought from home. We have a refrigerator and microwave on site for any food requiring refrigeration and warming. Daily snacks (chips, water, juice boxes) are provided. We recommend you provide an adequate breakfast for any campers that are taking advantage of our early drop-off.

 

What activities are planned for the children?

We engage our campers in a host of indoor activities including, but not limited to, arts and crafts, video games, board games, karaoke, movie day, and more.  We have 3 rooms that will be active throughout the day, each hosting a different and diverse activity.  

 

Will the children be taken on a trip?

One of the highlights of our camp has always been our amazing trip itinerary. We will be taking our campers to Nickelodeon Universe located at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, NJ.

 

How do we monitor campers on trips and keep them safe?

All campers MUST wear their bright safety orange cotton t-shirt when on the trip.  T-shirts are an additional fee. 

 

How will the children be transported to our trip destinations?

We have been using J&R Tours bus company for our summer charters for the past 13 years. These are 54 passenger modern motor coach buses that have a rest room, WiFi, and screens for viewing movies while in transit. 

 

What is the child to counselor ratio?

Our ratio child to counselor ratio is 1:3.  All of our counselors are older students or young adults that are directly affiliated with our school.

 

What do the weekly tuition charges cover?

The weekly tuition charges cover all activities, daily snacks, end of week trip, and transportation to trip destination.

 

May parents chaperone on the trip to Nickelodeon Universe?

Absolutely!  We welcome any parents that wish to chaperone.  Chaperones are accepted on a first-come first-served basis.

 

May I just pay for the Friday trip alone or do I have to attend mini-camp for the whole week?

Only participants registered for mini-camp may attend the trip.
